Farms, at first sight, underperform compared to forest/jungle tiles with sawmills, but there's a hidden (at least hidden for the EUI view) feature: adjacency. Every farm gets a +1 per 2 adjacent farms. This doesn't seem too much, but in big clusters it's like adding 2 per tile. The problem is how to get such big clusters.

By working collectively, as well as on our own projects, we can deliver more for the environment. A farmer cluster is when a group of farmers from a region form a group to discuss important issues and agree on cross-farm strategies and initiatives. Our farmer clusters were started to support and encourage farmers to get involved in conservation and to become more aware of the unique wildlife and habitats on their land.
