WebbI would suggest creating a new ZFS Pool and making that into a SMB file share. I'm assuming that it's only Windows users gaining access to the contents. You can use group policy to map the drive. If you want the drive to be "local" you can just make a new zfs and assign it to the VM via the VM settings.
